AI privacy check-up · Android first

Know what's on your phone. Keep your private life private.

LogicalSweep uses on-device AI to find sensitive items like private photos, chats, financial and medical records, and political material. It sorts them by type, so you can back them up to encrypted storage, take them off your phone well before you travel (or anytime), and restore them later.

Free scan and checklist. Your phone's contents are scanned on the device, not in our cloud.

Your phone holds your whole life. And it crosses borders with you.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can inspect travelers' electronic devices at ports of entry. These searches affect a small share of travelers, but the numbers are growing. And most of us carry years of personal data we've never reviewed.

How it works

A privacy check-up in three steps, done on your schedule, well ahead of any trip.

1

Scan on your phone

On-device AI reviews your photos and files and flags sensitive items. The scan runs locally; nothing is uploaded.

2

Review by category

See what was found, sorted by type: photos, chats, financial, medical, IDs, political. For each item, choose back up, back up and remove, or keep.

3

Back up, remove, restore

Selected items are encrypted on your phone before upload to your private vault. Remove them from the device after a verified backup and restore them whenever you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal?

LogicalSweep is a privacy-hygiene tool. It helps you decide what personal data to keep on your phone, back up your own files to encrypted storage, and restore them later. Choosing what to carry on a personal device, keeping encrypted backups, and deleting your own files are common, everyday privacy practices. LogicalSweep is not designed to hide information from, mislead, or interfere with any official inspection or legal process, and it should not be used that way. You should always answer officials truthfully and follow applicable laws and lawful instructions, including at the border. Laws differ by country and by situation, and your citizenship or immigration status may affect your rights. CBP notes that a border search covers information on the device at the time of inspection, and that officers may not use the device to access information stored only remotely (CBP).

Not legal advice. This page is general information, not legal advice. For questions about your rights or obligations, especially if you are not a U.S. citizen, talk to a qualified attorney.
Does LogicalSweep upload my photos to scan them?

No. Scanning runs on your device. Data leaves your phone only if you choose to back items up, and those backups are encrypted on the device first.

What kinds of items does it find?

It looks for categories people often consider sensitive: private photos, chats, financial documents, medical records, IDs and personal documents, and political or activism material. You review every result and make every decision.

Will it delete anything automatically?

No. Nothing is removed without your confirmation, and removal happens only after a verified encrypted backup.

Can I restore my items after a trip?

Yes. Restore everything or pick by category, trip, or date.

How much does it cost?

The scan and checklist are free. Encrypted backup and restore will be paid per trip or annually, and teams can get B2B licenses. Pricing has not been set.

Is it available on iPhone?
